Suzanna Shkreli is a first generation American, born and raised in Michigan. Her parents are working class Albanian immigrants, and worked very hard to give Suzanna and her siblings the opportunity to get a good education and go to college.
Suzanna worked her way through Oakland University and then law school with student loans. Instead of going to work at a big law firm, Suzanna wanted to give back. She became a Macomb County Prosecutor, prosecuting homicide, drug crimes, assaults, and domestic violence. She currently serves in the Child Protection Unit, where she prosecutes crimes against children involving physical and sexual abuse.
Suzanna is an advocate for victim rights and has represented the United States Department of Justice in training law enforcement agencies on victim rights abroad.
In Congress, Suzanna will take on tough fights to help Michigan families and make sure the next generation has the same opportunities she had.
